bode: verb (pronounced bo•dee): to quit and not even care. The marathoner chose to bode the race after only 15 miles. You can also pull a bode or bode out.

Does it bother you that Bode Miller threw away his golden opporturnity to shine at the Winter Olympics and doesn't seem to care?

I'm not sure that Bode blew it. He was under ridiculous pressure with the cover of Time Magazine, etc. I mean (rant rant), NBC depended on him to draw viewers. When he bodied, Bob Costas et al were not exactly charitable!

Really, he didn't do that badly. We just wanted him to win and he didn't.

But I still love your cartoon!

2 years ago I named my kitten after Bode. Now my cat is overweight, slow and doesn't care about anything but playing with other kitties....Just like Bode Miller.
